Pronunciation: Samtosha.
Meaning: The Essence of the Goddess of Contentment, Satisfaction and Pleasure. Also meaning a state of equilibrium and perfect balance, a state of contentment that extends throughout all areas of life. Origin: The ancient vibrational language of Sanskrit that came out of the Indus Valley (where India is currently located).

Samtosa is a Holistic Aesthetician of eight years. She has a holistic skin care practice in San Diego (Little Italy) where her specialty is in natural facial rejuvenation. She uses cutting-edge, innovative technologies and organic skin care products to effect amazing changes in skin.

Samtosa graduated from a Dermalogica Partner School of Aesthetics and has since obtained advanced certifications from the Dermal Institute and the Advanced Medical Aesthetics Institute. She has also had training in advanced techniques from 302 Skincare and the Marius Group, including LED Light and Ultrasound technology in facial rejuvenation.

Samtosa's passion for skin care and products began as a young girl. She would watch in awe, her amazingly beautiful mother engaged in her daily morning beauty routine. In her late teens, Samtosa was already immersed in researching the latest skin care products in the beauty magazines and department stores. Besides taking Nutrition, Biology and Physiology as part of her college coursework, Samtosa found herself on a healing path when several health challenges became apparent in her life. She developed an intense interest in the healing arts and has been an avid health, nutrition and skin care products researcher for well over 15 years.

Samtosa also holds an MSW Degree in Mental Health Social Work. She has also traveled to Canada and Mexico to complete an intensive 6 month training to become a meditation teacher. She currently teaches meditation in San Diego. With these qualifications, Samtosa has a keen ability to work with the whole person, mind, body and spirit and her clinical skincare skills are top notch.
